All repertoire's both in Maori and English must be sent to the Events Administrator Kate Kaukau by the 30th of September 2010, if any items are from copyright covers please state the original tune. Payment for Groups must be in by the 15th of September 2010. You must seek permission from Apra/Amcos if you intend to use music/tunes and lyrics from covers or existing songs in english, changing the words and meaning doesn't mean it is original, it means you have amended the original work and need permission to do so. You may wear any type of costume traditional or conptemporary, any instrument/props are permitted,  your 12 performers include the guitarist. You may NOT use recorded backing music or hold any microphones ( these will be on the stage). The group can be all men, all women or mix.
The performance will be judged on Aggregate: Waiata A Ringa, Poi and Haka. Non Aggregate: Manu Kura Tane, Manu Kura Wahine, Kakahu. Whakaeke and Whakawatea can be included provided you don't exceed the time limit, all scores contribute to the over-all score, you will lose 5 points if you exceed the 12 minute time limit:
N.B. Due to inquiries regarding deposit dead-line, we have extended the payment of  $300 deposit to the 20th September 2010 which is non-refundable and final payment by 30th September.
